The City of Yamhill is having issues with internet service dropping out during the last two City meetings that were being broadcast via zoom. Additionally, we have been working on the separate issue of correcting the camera glitch issues in the video. We recognize that this is not a minor inconvenience and want to assure you that we are diligently working to resolve these issues.
We are in contact with our internet service provider regarding the internet connection and in contact with the camera manufacturer regarding repair/replacement of the camera. Until these issues are resolved, we want to get the message out to the public the zoom meeting platform is not the most reliable source for attending the City meetings. We will continue trying to broadcast the meetings through zoom while these issues persist, however, please be aware that service may be disrupted.
Until such time that we are able to have these issues corrected, in-person attendance is the most reliable way to participate in the meetings.
