The City of Yamhill is currently accepting applications for a permanent Administrative Clerk position.
Starting Salary: $17.50 hourly starting, with a 6-month review. 32-40 hrs. per week benefited position.
Job Description: Performs a variety of tasks such as Grant writing, assistant to Utility Billing Clerk / Municipal Clerk, preparing daily deposit, balancing of cash, customer service, answering phones and many other miscellaneous duties.
Experience: Equivalent to a high school education and five (5) years clerical experience or any satisfactory combination of experience and training that would demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties. Previous grant writing experience preferred. Must become LEDS Certified within 60 days. Must have Oregon Driver’s License, clean driving record and pass a background check. Bilingual a plus.
