The City of Yamhill Public Works Department is announcing that a Level 2 Water Shortage Condition is now in effect.
Although at Level 2 conservation is voluntary at this time, the City strongly encourages all residents, businesses, and institutions to follow the recommended conservation practices. These guidelines are designed to help ensure that water resources remain reliable and available for everyone, particularly as high temperatures persist.
Public Works officials emphasize that taking action now is critical. By working together to reduce unnecessary water use, the community can help stabilize supplies and avoid more stringent measures in the future.
The City will continue to monitor weather conditions, reservoir levels, and water usage trends closely. Additional updates will be provided if circumstances change or if further conservation measures become necessary.
